On the scenic Central Coast of N.S.W. we custom design and build individual shield and blazons onto a variety of stained timber bases to give the best contrast for your design.

To complement your blazon we can supply swords and brackets in most styles and nationalities to reinforce your blazon and proudly proclaim your name and lineage.

Name plates are heavy brass with deep engraving and are painted or laquered to suit.

Your Shield of Valour is delivered assembled with hanging brackets and wire fitted, the swords being packed seperately for transport safety.

When delivered and upacked, the Sheild of Valour is laid flat and the swords inserted carefully behind the blazon resting on the bottom shield mount with the hilts touching the brackets.

Select a suitable display for your Shield of Valour and prepare the wall with a solid fixing into brickwork or stud timber, use a screw 75mm long size 8 or 10 for safety, as the Shield of Valour may weigh over five kilograms.

Carefully lift the now assembled Shield of Valour and hang, ensuring the swords are correctly positioned and level the artwork by eye.

The shield of valour will dominate most walls and will be eyecatching so you may wish to modify your lighting to give the most impact, spotlighting giving the most dramatic effect.
